User Guide - Usage With Non-Yahoo Fantasy Platforms

Although full fantasy platform integration is currently only available with Yahoo Fantasy, you can still use Algo Fantasy with other fantasy platforms with some addtional manual steps.

Authorization & Setup Steps

[Mandatory] Step 1: Authorize Google Sheets via Setup to enable automations and actions.

[Skip] Step 2: Enter Yahoo League ID

[Skip] Step 3: Authorize Yahoo Fantasy API

[Skip] Step 4: Update League Settings

[Mandatory] Manually Enter League Settings

• On My Team: Enter your league's roster settings and requirements.
• On My Team: For Points Leagues, enter your league's fantasy point scoring rules.
• On My Team: Hide/unhide the lineup rows to match your league's roster size.
• On League Teams: Enter all team names in row 2 of the League Teams table contained in columns A:T.
• On League Teams: Enter your own team name under My Team Average/Sum in column V.
• On League Teams: Hide/unhide your lineup rows and League Teams table columns to match your league's team count and roster size.

[Skip] Step 5: Update Player Prices/ADP

[Optional] Manually Update Player Prices/ADP

• On Player Data: Manually enter player prices or ADP in column D if your platform's values differ from the default values.
• On Player Data: Do not alter player name (first column) and player key (last column) pairs. This will allow Update Player Projections to function properly.

[Optional] Step 6: Update Player Projections

• Updates player stat projections using the Algo Fantasy player stat projection dataset.
• This will continue to function as long as player name and player key pairs are not altered on Player Data.
• You may also manually edit any player stat projections if desired.

[Mandatory for Category Leagues] Step 7: Update Avg/StDev Values

• Updates average and standard deviation values on My Team based on league size and roster requirements.
• Activate this step after all league settings are manually set.
• Activate this step any time league settings or player stat projections are adjusted.

Repeatable Steps

Run Algo

• The algorithm is fully functional using data contained on the pages.
• Any fields requiring user input (highlighted yellow) functions as intended except Update Draft Results.

Update Draft Results

• You can manually input draft results to utilize the Algo throughout the draft.
• On League Teams: Enter the drafted player's name under the team that drafted that player in the League Teams table contained in columns A:T.
• On Player Data: Enter the auction price or draft pick of the drafted player in column B.
